In the app
- Signed in with Apple or Google: open Settings › Account and choose Delete account.
- Not signed in: open Settings and choose Delete my data under Privacy.
Either way, your account, progress, settings, league profile and records of counted solves are deleted from our servers at once, you leave this week's league, and what the app kept on your phone goes too.
Without the app
Email [email protected] with the subject “Delete my Gridhaiku data”, and tell us one of these, so we can find your data:
- the email of the Apple or Google account you signed in with, or
- your Support ID, shown in the app under Settings › About.
We confirm by email and delete your account and data within 30 days. If you never signed in and don’t have your Support ID, we can’t tell which data is yours; deleting it in the app before you remove the app is the way to go.
What is kept
- Usage analytics and crash reports aren’t linked to your account; Google deletes them after up to 14 months and about 90 days.
- Past weeks' leagues keep your made-up name and times, no longer linked to your account, until they're deleted 8 weeks after their week.
- Purchase records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires.
- Deleting your data doesn’t cancel a subscription. Cancel it in the App Store or Google Play.
